Once again, Sony has upped the ante in the compact high definition video camera world with their HDV Handycam HDR-HC7, followed by the HC-9 in 2008. As HD video continues to gain poplularity in the consumer market, the compact, affordable HC7 and HC9 are the latest generation of wonder cameras, featureing higher resolution and breathtaking imagery at a very affordable price for both the hobbyist and serious amateur videographer. Seatool is proud to offer another revolutionary housing that brings underwater HD video to divers worldwide in an equally compact and affordable package.

3-positon adjustable position remote control grip standard
The grip angle can be adjusted between three positions to adapt to any diving style or shooting situation.
To complement our multi-coated glass lens, our New 'ST' bayonet lens mount accepts the 15mm wide angle lens from Fisheye, and adapts the popular 67mm threaded mount lenses from Inon, Epoque, and Ikelte to a quick mount/release bayonet fitting which can be mounted to and removed from the housing (while underwater) with just a twist of the wrist. Choose from underwater mountable fisheye, 100-degree wide angle or close-up lenses, to match any imaging situation. Standard flip-type internal color filter ![]() The Seatool HC7 is fitted with an internal color correcting orange filter. The filter is installed inside the housing, in front of camera lens where it cannot be scratched. Flip a single lever to move the filter over or away from lens. Multi-coated optical glass port The multi-coated optical glass port is optically superior, controls flare, and resists scratching. Accessory port The accessory port allows attaching an external LCD monitor or audio input from an underwater communications system. Accessory shoe The HC7 housing features a multi-purpose accessory shoe on top of the housing. Add an optional FIX Rotary Hot Shoe Base, and a FIX Light, for an easy to handle, compact lighting system. External strobe fiber optic connector With it's 6.1 megapixel CMOS sensor, the HC7 takes beautiful still images as well as stunning HD video. To reproduce the subject's natural colors, it is possible to trigger and external strobe from the camera's internal strobe by a fiber optic cable attached to the housing's fiber optic connector.
